Online unemployment benefit applications increased by 60%

Hai Duong has more than 14,000 applications for unemployment benefits, of which more than 9,400 applications were submitted online on the National Public Service Portal.

According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, by mid-December 2023, Hai Duong had more than 14,000 applications for unemployment benefits, of which more than 9,400 applications were submitted online on the National Public Service Portal, accounting for more than 67% of the submitted applications, an increase of 60% over the same period last year.

The number of applications for unemployment benefits increased significantly compared to the same period last year because the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs actively implemented the Project "Developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, vision to 2030", focusing on 10 groups of tasks, including increasing the index of submitting applications for unemployment benefits on the National Public Service Portal.

The Center for Employment Services - Vocational Education gradually overcomes difficulties in facilities and guides workers in handling problems with social insurance payment data.
