The Investigation Police Agency of Gia Loc District Police (Hai Duong) has just issued a decision to prosecute a case of property extortion that occurred in Thong Nhat Commune (Gia Loc), and at the same time detained a related subject to serve the investigation.

Earlier, at around 11:45 p.m. on June 4, on their way home from work, two residents of Thong Nhat Commune (Gia Loc) were stopped by two men on a motorbike without a license plate. The man sitting behind them was holding a sword about 40 cm long, threatening them and demanding their money and phone. After taking one of the victim's phones, the two men fled.
Immediately after receiving the news, Thong Nhat Commune Police reported and coordinated with the District Police's professional teams to quickly deploy forces and use synchronous professional measures to identify the two subjects who committed the above acts as VMC (born in 2008, residing in Nam Sach town) and D.MT (born in 2006, residing in Nam Hong commune, Nam Sach district).
At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed that on the evening of June 4, they rode a motorbike and brought swords from Nam Sach to Hai Duong City to play. After running out of money, the subjects discussed stopping people on the street to ask for money or take property. Both subjects dropped out of school early, were addicted to games, and lacked family supervision.
Currently, subject T. is being detained for investigation.
