Hai Duong Provincial People's Council opens special session, considers many urgent issues

This is the 5th thematic session organized by the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council in 2023 and is held just 1 month before the regular session at the end of the year. At this session, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council is expected to consider 16 submissions and reports of the Provincial People's Committee on many important and urgent contents.

In particular, the People's Council of Hai Duong province is interested in considering many policies such as financial support for families of people with revolutionary contributions in housing; financial support for building classrooms in public preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools; support for the development of concentrated agricultural production applying high technology and organic agriculture.

The People's Council of Hai Duong province will consider and decide on investment policies for 5 projects, including the Ta Quang Buu apartment complex project (Hai Duong city); construction of an interchange connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway, Hai Duong province; repair and renovation of 3 large pumping stations: Van Thang (Chi Linh) and Chu Dau, Ngoc Tri (Nam Sach). The People's Council of the province will also discuss adjusting investment policies for 3 projects: the project to preserve the Con Son - Kiep Bac relic site, and the construction of classrooms and auxiliary works at Nam Sach High School and Tu Ky High School.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also submitted a proposal to approve the provincial planning dossier; adjust the 5-year public investment plan for the period 2021-2025, the public investment plan for 2023; allocate public investment capital (local budget capital) for the 5-year period 2021-2025 and 2023 (6th time); adjust the local budget estimate for 2023; recover land, allow the change of purpose of using rice-growing land and protective forest land to implement projects and works.
