Let's be for common responsibility

In difficult times, there are many things to do to quickly recover from storms and floods. Each person should, for the common responsibility, try a little.

After storm number 3, many trees were broken and fell. Each person needs to take the initiative to clean up and sanitize instead of waiting for support from authorities.

Storm No. 3 passed through, causing almost all the trees around Mrs. Hoa's neighborhood to fall down. Seeing the trees planted many years ago uprooted and with broken branches that could not be replanted, Mrs. Hoa felt very sorry. Mrs. Hoa's tree fell across the road, so right after the storm, her husband and wife had to hire someone to cut it down and clean it up themselves. However, not far from Mrs. Hoa's house, some houses still left tree branches on the road and refused to clean it up. Mrs. Hoa angrily told Mrs. Minh:

- I wonder what the houses in the alley are busy with that they don't clean up the broken tree branches to make it easier to walk around and make it less unsanitary?

- I'm not busy, this morning I went to the market and saw some women there sitting in groups of three or five gossiping. I saw the broken tree branches that had fallen onto the street after the storm, "an eyesore" so I went to remind them. Not only did they not listen, they also said I was a bad person - Mrs. Minh complained.

- What did they say? You were so right. Leave it there for a few days and the tree branch will rot and become a mosquito nest. The dengue fever epidemic is still lurking, it hasn't passed yet - Mrs. Hoa said.

- They said it's not your trash, don't worry about other people's business. They also said cleaning up the trash is the environmental company's job. We've paid, so why get our hands dirty? - Mrs. Minh said indignantly.

Listening to Mrs. Minh, Mrs. Hoa said:

- Each street has dozens of fallen trees, and all of them are big trees, so how can they handle it? Like my neighborhood, if we wait for the environmental company to come and clean up, the front of the house will be full of trash. The company is still cleaning up the big streets, there is no one to take care of every small alley. I even saw the city mobilize youth union members and soldiers to clean up fallen trees after the storm. Because they were afraid of getting their hands dirty, just last night near my alley, two cars collided with each other because of a pile of leaves in the middle of the intersection, blocking the view. In difficult times, with so much to do to quickly recover from the storm, wouldn't it be better for everyone to try a little harder?

Listening to the story of the two women, Mr. Ban, Mrs. Hoa's husband, added:

- I don't think it's just a matter of unsanitary conditions and traffic. It's been raining a lot these past few days. If we let leaves flow down the drain and block the flow, how can we drain the water? The whole street will be flooded. The two ladies have reminded us but they still don't do anything and keep it a mess. This afternoon, I'll tell the head of the area to go to each house to remind them. Cleaning up fallen trees around where we live is a shared responsibility, especially at this time. We can't rely on the environmental company...
