The plan of the Haval brand distributor in Vietnam is to bring Jolion to the country in April, but so far, the first batch of this product has just arrived at the port and been delivered to dealers. Haval sales consultants said that Haval Jolion is expected to launch at the end of 2024 and the vehicles will be delivered at the same time.

The Haval Jolion has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,472 x 1,841 x 1,574 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. These parameters are slightly larger than the pure B-size model Kia Seltos with dimensions of 4,365 x 1,800 x 1,645 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The Jolion is also larger than the B+ model Toyota Corolla Cross with dimensions of 4,460 x 1,825 x 1,620 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,640 mm. In terms of height alone, the Jolion is lower than most B and B+ models.

According to Haval dealers, Jolion is distributed in Vietnam with two versions, Pro and Ultra, starting at over 700 million VND. Both versions are equipped with a hybrid engine similar to its predecessor, Haval H6.

The Haval Jolion's engine combines a 1.5 petrol engine and an electric motor, with a total capacity of 190 horsepower and 375 Nm of torque. This engine's performance is the highest in the small-sized high-chassis vehicle segment (below C) in Vietnam, except for the pure electric model VinFast VF 6. The Jolion comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive.

Like the H6, the Haval Jolion has a masculine and boxy design. In Thailand, the car is equipped with standard LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch wheels. A sunroof is available on the top Ultra version.

The interior of the Jolion is similar to the H6 in the way the details are arranged. Leather seats, 7-inch speedometer, 10.25-inch touch screen entertainment screen placed on the dashboard. 6-way power driver's seat, 4-way passenger seat. Electronic gear lever.

Like many competitors in the B segment, Haval Jolion has an ADAS driver assistance package with features such as forward collision warning, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control... and is only equipped on the highest version.

The appearance of Haval Jolion helps domestic consumers have more choices in the small-sized SUV segment, which is becoming increasingly crowded. In the B+ segment, Toyota Corolla Cross is the best-selling model with 5,479 cars, of which the hybrid version alone contributed 1,142 cars, accounting for 20%.
