At Yen stream, there are thousands of boats serving visitors. To ensure the safety of people and tourists attending the opening day of Huong Pagoda festival, the police force has been increased since the 4th day of Lunar New Year.
Vice Chairman of My Duc District People's Committee Dang Van Canh, Head of the Organizing Committee of Huong Pagoda Festival, said that this year's festival will attract a large number of visitors because in the past two years, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, they could not go to Huong Pagoda.
“From the 3rd to the 5th of Tet, Huong Pagoda welcomed 102,000 visitors, with 47,000 visitors on the 5th of Tet alone. Right from the 5th of Tet, one day before the festival, a sea of people flocked to Huong Pagoda to pray for the first time of the year,” said Mr. Dang Van Canh.
This year, the organizers are piloting an electric car model at bus stations so that visitors to Huong Pagoda can conveniently visit and enjoy the scenery. Electric car tickets cost 10,000 VND/person/trip for all routes.
The Management Board of Huong Son Scenic Relic Site (Huong Pagoda) mobilized 3,000 boats to meet the festival needs of the people.

The round-trip cable car ticket is 220,000 VND per person. Many people had to wait for an hour to get on the cable car.
Authorities were deployed at many checkpoints to direct traffic and guide people to the festival.
