Ms. Do Thi Lan (Hai Duong) and her family had to wait for nearly an hour to move only about 10 meters, the distance for everyone waiting to get on the cable car was very long. “We got on the bus at 3am, and arrived at the temple gate at 7am. There were 6 people in my family, 2 of whom climbed by themselves, while I and 3 others could not climb so we took the cable car. In this situation, taking the cable car is faster but waiting takes several hours, jostling is very tiring,” Ms. Lan said.

Going with his wife and children, Mr. Chuong Viet Nam planned to leave early to avoid congestion at the cable car area but still could not avoid it. Mr. Nam decided to take his wife and children out of the line and climb up to the main temple. “I waited for 30 minutes but the line was still too far. Seeing the people in the line who arrived before me still had to wait so hard, I had to give up my ticket and get out of the line to save time,” Mr. Nam said.
