Hai Duong exceeds the vaccination plan for livestock in the fall

Localities have basically completed injecting 3.3 million doses of avian influenza vaccine, 115,970 doses of swine fever vaccine, 89,170 doses of swine erysipelas vaccine, 8,630 doses of anthrax vaccine for buffalo and cows, and over 34,000 doses of rabies vaccine for dogs...

The new point in this year's autumn vaccination is that many localities have purchased vaccines to vaccinate pigs against African swine fever. By November 10, Binh Giang, Thanh Ha districts, Kinh Mon town and Hai Duong city had purchased and organized the injection of 14,580 doses of this vaccine. The four districts of Kim Thanh, Gia Loc, Cam Giang and Thanh Mien have completed the procedures to purchase vaccines and will organize the injection in the near future.

During this period, dangerous infectious diseases in livestock such as swine fever, foot-and-mouth disease, blue ear disease, avian influenza, etc. in Hai Duong were well controlled. However, the provincial Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine requested that localities not be subjective, continue to propagate people to actively clean and prevent diseases for livestock, and prevent the outbreak and spread of diseases.

The amount of vaccine available is still basically enough to vaccinate livestock from now until the end of the year. Localities continue to review and may propose that the province provide additional vaccines to prevent dangerous diseases for newly imported livestock.
