Hai Duong withdraws alert level II on Luoc River

According to the announcement of the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, the upstream flood affecting the Luoc River is slowly receding, so the water level of the Luoc River is also receding and will continue to recede slowly. The actual water level measured at 9:00 a.m. on September 13 at La Tien was 4.35m (0.35m lower than the alarm level II) and will continue to recede.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue requests the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Thanh Mien, Ninh Giang, Tu Ky districts, and all levels and sectors to implement the order to withdraw the alert level II on the Luoc River. Organize patrols and guard the Luoc River dike according to alert level I, closely monitor the development of the dike, especially the embankments, sluices, and river banks close to the dike to promptly detect and handle any damage to the dike and irrigation works from the first hour.

Check and evaluate the dike incidents that have been handled. If they are not safe, fix them to ensure flood safety. Continue to closely monitor and promptly handle any unsafe developments.
