There were 2 widespread cold spells, the lowest temperature was 8.4 degrees Celsius. There were some thunderstorms and lightning that killed 1 person. The economic damage caused by natural disasters is estimated at about 20 billion VND.
Since the beginning of 2024, natural disasters have continued to develop abnormally, with severe cold appearing in many waves and lasting for a long time. Heat waves came early, with temperatures 1.5-2.5 degrees Celsius higher than the average of many years. Heavy rains also caused flooding in urban areas.
