Hai Duong ranks 7th in the country in terms of GRDP growth after the provinces and cities of Bac Giang, Khanh Hoa, Thanh Hoa, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, and Tra Vinh.
According to the General Statistics Office, Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 6.43% in the first 6 months of 2024, just lower than the same period in 2022.
During this period, many localities across the country witnessed strong growth in gross regional domestic product (GRDP).
There are 7 localities recording double-digit GRDP growth rates including: Bac Giang (14.14%), Khanh Hoa (12.73%), Thanh Hoa (11.5%), Ha Nam (10.35%), Hai Phong (10.32%), Tra Vinh (10.27%), Hai Duong (10%).
