Hai Duong spends more than 100 billion VND on road maintenance in 2023

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province has agreed with the proposal of the Department of Transport on the list of road maintenance works using the road traffic career capital in 2023 for projects to renovate, repair, and ensure traffic safety on routes in Hai Duong.

The total cost of road maintenance in 2023 is more than 102.1 billion VND. Of which, more than 44.8 billion VND is for regular management and maintenance and nearly 57.3 billion VND is for irregular repairs.

In irregular repairs, the budget for organizing traffic safety at 6 intersections with potential traffic safety hazards is about 5.1 billion VND.

The budget for emergency repairs of Thanh Hong bridge at km 68+700, Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway; handling of potential traffic accident points at the intersection between provincial road 390 D and national highway 37 in Quoc Tuan commune (Nam Sach) is estimated at 11.9 billion VND.

The estimated cost of repairing the foundation, road surface, and drainage system at some locations is 30.37 billion VND.

The cost of repairing the road surface of some district roads is 9.5 billion VND.

The Department of Transport is allowed to adjust the itinerary and costs to suit reality, prioritizing severely damaged road sections with potential traffic safety risks and road sections with large traffic volumes, ensuring that the total value does not exceed the allocated capital.
