Hai Duong directs the good implementation of social security and welfare policies on the occasion of Tet At Ty

In order to prepare well the conditions to serve the people in the province to celebrate the New Year 2025 and the Lunar New Year of the Snake, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, joyfully, healthily, safely and economically, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of 2025, the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to lead, thoroughly grasp and organize the serious and effective implementation of Directive No. 40-CT/TW, directive documents of the Government, the Prime Minister and the province on the organization of the Lunar New Year of the Snake in 2025.

Focus on leading and directing the promotion of production and business activities, socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building the political system, striving to achieve the highest level of goals and tasks according to the program and plan set out in 2025 and successfully completing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

Focus on directing the effective implementation of social security and welfare policies, strengthening the tradition of solidarity and mutual love, promoting the implementation of poverty reduction programs, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, taking care of people's material and spiritual lives, ensuring that every household and every person can enjoy Tet and welcome spring.

In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to people in especially difficult circumstances, poor households; workers, laborers, households affected by natural disasters and epidemics. Carefully organize activities to visit and give Tet gifts to families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the country, veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, outstanding religious dignitaries, armed forces units, and forces on duty during Tet.

Strengthen the work of preventing waste and negativity and implementing the regulations on setting an example of the Central and the Provincial Party Committee. Do not organize visits and New Year greetings to superiors and leaders at all levels; strictly prohibit giving or presenting New Year gifts to leaders at all levels in any form; only attend pagodas and festivals when assigned (except for participation in personal capacity); do not participate in superstitious activities; do not use the budget, means, and public assets against regulations.

Officials and party members, especially leaders of party committees and organizations, must truly set an example in celebrating the New Year in a healthy, safe and economical manner, especially the regulation of not driving after consuming alcohol or beer.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of festival management and organization according to regulations, ensuring the organization of festival activities, spring festivals, traditional anniversaries, year-end conferences, New Year meetings, tree planting festivals... in a practical, safe, economical manner, in accordance with the cultural and traditional lifestyle of the nation and the good customs and practices of each locality; directing the organization of fireworks to welcome the New Year 2025 and the Lunar New Year in accordance with actual conditions, ensuring safety, economy, and not using the state budget.

Organize inspection, close supervision, market management, do a good job of ensuring food safety, environmental sanitation, disease prevention, price stabilization, ensuring balance between supply and demand of goods and services; pay attention to urban beautification, streets, village roads, alleys, residential areas... to ensure brightness, greenness, cleanliness, and beauty.

Proactively plan and ensure means of transporting goods and serving people's travel needs during Tet.

Direct the synchronous and effective implementation of the goals and tasks of the 2025 socio-economic development plan. Focus on implementing winter-spring crop production within the best time frame; proactively prevent and control diseases in livestock and poultry; widely launch a movement for the entire population to participate in the Tet tree planting festival; maintain and improve the quality of cultural, educational and health care activities for the people, and create jobs for workers.

Resolutely implement socio-economic development tasks, manage the budget, and disburse public investment capital right from the beginning of the year; closely follow the actual situation, respond to policies promptly and appropriately; promote the implementation of approved plans; strongly and substantially improve the investment and business environment to attract investment for development.

Party committees, authorities at all levels, police and military forces shall strengthen direction and organization of forces to strictly maintain a standing regime; proactively deploy measures to protect political security, social order and safety and cyberspace safety, and avoid being passive or surprised. Strengthen patrols and controls, promptly detect and combat, prevent and suppress all types of crimes and social evils; strictly handle violations of the law.

At the same time, step up propaganda to raise people's responsibility and self-awareness in implementing regulations on traffic safety; fire and explosion prevention; food safety; environmental sanitation; disease prevention; proactively fight against false and distorted information and viewpoints, and defeat all sabotage plots of hostile forces against the Party, State and people.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requests that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, agencies, units, and localities have specific plans, assign leaders, cadres, and employees to be on duty during Tet, ensure timely and effective handling and resolution of all work and situations arising in localities, agencies, and units, and avoid delays.
