Two businesses were forced to pay over 100 billion VND in tax debt

Lao Cai Provincial Customs Branch issued a decision to enforce the administrative decision on tax management by withdrawing money from the account/requesting to freeze the account of the subject of enforcement at the State Treasury, credit institution for Lan Anh Construction Company Limited (located at D2 Street, Group 35, Kim Tan Ward, Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province).

The reason for the enforcement was that the above enterprise did not comply with the tax determination decision and the administrative penalty decision of Lao Cai Border Gate Customs Branch, with the total amount of enforcement being more than 56 billion VND.

During the same period, Lao Cai Border Gate Customs Branch issued a decision to enforce Thuy Linh Company Limited (headquartered at 406 An Duong Vuong Street, Kim Tan Ward, Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province) for failing to comply with the tax determination decision and the administrative penalty decision of Lao Cai Border Gate Customs Branch with a total enforced amount of more than 52 billion VND.

Lao Cai Border Gate Customs Branch requests that the Lao Cai Provincial Development Investment Joint Stock Commercial Bank Branch open accounts for Lan Anh Construction Company Limited and Thuy Linh Company Limited and must be responsible for withdrawing money from the accounts/blocking the accounts of the debtors to pay into the Lao Cai Provincial State Treasury account according to regulations.

The authorities require Lan Anh Construction Company Limited and Thuy Linh Company Limited to strictly implement this decision before October 28, 2023.
