Ha Tinh solemnly held the 120th birthday celebration of General Secretary Tran Phu

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung reviewed the history of the life and career of comrade Tran Phu - the first General Secretary of the Party, a young and talented leader, a staunch communist soldier, and an outstanding son of the Vietnamese people.

The Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee stated: “The 1930 Political Platform drafted by Comrade Tran Phu and the Party documents during his tenure as General Secretary are invaluable documents, contributing to the formation of the basic guidelines of the Vietnamese revolution. As General Secretary, Comrade Tran Phu, together with the Central Executive Committee, built and consolidated Party organizations at all levels; directed the good organization of communication work from the Central to the regional and provincial Party Committees, from the Central to the Communist International.”

Following the example of the first General Secretary of the Party, promoting the revolutionary tradition of the homeland, the Party Committee and the People of Ha Tinh province have made great contributions to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland. After nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation process, more than 30 years of re-establishing the province, despite many difficulties, the Party Committee and the People of Ha Tinh have risen to achieve many important results.

Informing about the outstanding results of socio-economic development and Party building work of the province, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung shared important lessons, including the lesson of "maintaining fighting spirit", steadfast in goals, firmly grasping the flag of national independence and socialism, wholeheartedly following the Party, following Uncle Ho, and having absolute trust in the Party's guidelines and policies.

Learning from the example of General Secretary Tran Phu and revolutionary predecessors, Provincial Party Secretary Hoang Trung Dung expressed that cadres, party members, and people of Ha Tinh will continue to join the people of the whole country in emulating to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, striving to make our country a developed country with a socialist orientation by the middle of the 21st century.

Ha Tinh always inherits and promotes the revolutionary tradition of the homeland; effectively implements the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels. Upholding the will, aspiration, being proactive, creative, with a strategic vision, determined to develop Ha Tinh rapidly and sustainably, striving to become a well-off province of the country by 2030. In particular, ensuring harmony between economic and cultural development, truly considering culture as the spiritual foundation of society, the driving force and goal of development; closely linking socio-economic development with ensuring national defense - security, political stability, social order and safety, creating a favorable environment for rapid and sustainable development, ensuring a peaceful and happy life for the people. At the same time, continuing to innovate methods, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; promoting democracy, coupled with strengthening discipline and order; improving the effectiveness of foreign affairs work...

"The Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh province are determined to join hands and build a province that develops rapidly and sustainably in the direction of modern industry, worthy of being the homeland of General Secretary Tran Phu and General Secretary Ha Huy Tap, contributing with the entire Party, people and army to build a prosperous and happy Vietnam" - the Provincial Party Secretary expressed his determination.

At the ceremony, representing the young generation of the province, Ho Phuong Linh (10th grade English 1 Youth Union, Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted) expressed her deep gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations, including the late General Secretary Tran Phu, to today's independence and peace.

Ho Phuong Linh affirmed that following the example of comrade Tran Phu and previous generations, today's young generation will always strive to study, constantly cultivate ideals, nurture a pure heart, train a bright mind, be proactive, and vow to promote their youthful strength in all areas of life; always improve themselves to live humanely and responsibly, to live a life of dedication and meaning to be worthy of the great contributions of General Secretary Tran Phu and previous generations, and to be worthy of being the generation that continues the tradition of their homeland Ha Tinh.

Representatives of the young generation expressed their wish to continue receiving the attention and guidance of previous generations, to confidently carry out their mission, the owners of the homeland and country to stand shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the five continents.

Next, the delegates enjoyed a special art program with the theme "Keep up the fighting spirit" recreating important milestones throughout the life of sacrifice and dedication of General Secretary Tran Phu.

The art program is presented through 3 chapters: Hong Lam's spirit; The loyal communist; The homeland forever echoes with his words, with dance scenes and stage scenes with dialogue to string together the events.

That is the story of the enlightenment process in search of revolutionary ideals of comrade Tran Phu, who wrote the first political platform and became the first General Secretary of the Party; the days of being captured, tortured and imprisoned by the enemy, before his sacrifice, he left an immortal call for his comrades and for future generations: "Keep up the fighting spirit".

The final part of the program shows the image of Ha Tinh homeland, resilient and strong, "echoing his words forever" on the path of innovation, integration and development.
