Prices of domestic petroleum products increased in today's adjustment period, of which RON95-III gasoline increased by 146 VND, the new price is 21,074 VND per liter.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. today, February 13, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 156 VND/liter, to 20,598 VND/liter.
At the same time, the price of RON95-III gasoline increased by 146 VND/liter, the new price is 21,074 VND/liter; diesel increased by 19 VND/liter, to 19,073 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 59 VND/liter, the selling price is 19,473 VND/liter and mazut oil increased by 425 VND, to 17,779 VND/kg.
During this period, the joint ministries did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products. As for the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), as of the time before the price adjustment, the balance of the Price Stabilization Fund at the enterprise was 3,081 billion VND, unchanged from the most recent announcement period.
In the most recent adjustment (February 6), the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by VND51/liter. In contrast, the price of RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND74/liter; diesel decreased by VND192/liter; kerosene decreased by VND25/liter, and fuel oil decreased by VND148/kg.
The operator said fuel prices rose last week due to new US sanctions on Iranian oil, signs of rising tensions in the Middle East and China's retaliation after Trump's tariff hike.
On average, over the past 7 days, the price of finished gasoline increased by about 0.3%, and oil by 0.4-2.4%. Accordingly, the price of each barrel of RON 95 gasoline increased to 86.4 USD, diesel oil to 91.3 USD, and fuel oil to 494.1 USD per ton.
