In the Environmental Impact Assessment Report that is seeking comments from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Shunsin said it will contribute 20 million USD to implement the project. In addition, borrowed and mobilized capital is 60 million USD, equivalent to 75% of the total investment capital.

The project's objective is to produce and process electronic components (integrated circuit boards) with a total capacity of 4.5 million products per year. 100% of the products are exported to the US, EU, and Japan.

An integrated circuit (IC), also known as a chip, is a collection of electronic circuits containing semiconductor components such as transistors, resistors, and capacitors, to perform a specific function.

Shunsin plans to complete the procedures, including the construction permit, in December, followed by construction of the project items and installation of machinery and equipment by May 2026. The project is scheduled to begin trial operation in June 2026 and official operation in December 2026.

This project has a total planning area of 44,343.8 m2 in Quang Chau Industrial Park, Bac Giang province, leased by the project owner from Saigon - Bac Giang Industrial Park Joint Stock Company. This is a subsidiary of Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (HoSE: KBC), a large unit in the industrial real estate industry.

When production is stable and reaches 100% of design capacity, the project is expected to need about 1,450 people, including 35 foreigners.

Shunsin affirms that it will use closed-loop technology, which is widely applied in their factories in China. The production lines have a high level of automation, are modern and safe for workers, ensuring and operating for a long time, improving labor productivity.

Foxconn is the world's largest Taiwanese electronics and computer components manufacturing corporation. The corporation is in the process of shifting investment and expanding production in Vietnam. In a report sent to Bac Giang province, Foxconn said it wants to expand investment in Bac Giang, "based on the corporation's strategy of shifting away from China and the actual needs of major customers."

Foxconn began building factories in Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and several other provinces in Vietnam in March 2007 and produces a wide range of products, from computers, information technology, consumer electronics, auto parts to semiconductor devices.

A prominent project of Foxconn in Bac Giang is Fukang Technology with an investment capital of more than 12,507 billion VND. This unit is applying for an environmental license for the exhaust gas treatment system of the iPad and Macbook production line at the factory in this province.
