On the morning of July 11, Mr. Pham Phu Ngoc, Director of the Hoi An Cultural Heritage Conservation Center, said that after being requested by the authorities to verify and clarify, the unit had reviewed and drawn up a record of the homeowner and the owner of the coffee shop currently operating at the house on Tran Phu Street. Mr. Ngoc said that the management agency had persuaded the owner to build a railing, pledging not to let customers climb onto the roof and violate the heritage. According to the center's representative, before singer Duc Tuan, a number of tourists had similar behavior and were all criticized.

Mr. Ngoc said that for now, the government will urge the restaurant owner to review the rooftop area, and if he does not agree, they will impose a fine.
