According to the Saudi Arabian news site Sport, the country's Football Federation's Disciplinary Committee is preparing to ban Cristiano Ronaldo from two matches for a series of offensive actions during the Al Nassr-Al Shabab match in the early morning of February 26. In addition, Ronaldo will also be required to pay a fine of up to 250,000 euros.

Previously, Al Shabab had filed a complaint, along with a series of video evidence, to request a penalty for Ronaldo. The 39-year-old superstar's actions were considered offensive, uncultured, and affected the reputation of the Saudi Arabian national championship. Ronaldo's indecent actions were also carried out in front of children and women.

In his career, Ronaldo's heaviest suspension was a five-match ban for pushing referee Ricardo De Burgos Bengoetxea in 2017. At that time, Ronaldo reacted when Bengoetxea gave him a second yellow card for diving.

Ronaldo has faced similar criticism in the past. In April last year, the Portuguese superstar was seen making an offensive gesture after a 2-0 loss to Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League. In early February this year, some fans threw an Al-Hilal scarf at Ronaldo, who picked it up, stuffed it in his pants and threw it down the tunnel.

Waleed Al Farraj, a famous Saudi Arabian writer and television presenter, shared about the incident. He said: "The Disciplinary Committee is facing its biggest challenge. We will wait and see. Everything has its limits, no matter how famous you are." Al-Nassr Club has not commented on the incident at the moment.

If suspended, Ronaldo's impressive form will be broken. Currently, he has scored in his last 9 appearances for Al Nassr. In all competitions, the 39-year-old veteran has scored 34 goals in just 35 appearances for Al Nassr this season.
