Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary received a delegation of Japanese businesses

On the morning of December 19, a Japanese business delegation led by Mr. Yasuhide Nakayama, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, visited and worked in Hai Duong.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee received and worked with the delegation. Also attending were Comrade Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments and branches.

Welcoming the Japanese business delegation to Hai Duong, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang affirmed that over the past years, the strategic cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Japan in general, and between Hai Duong and Japanese provinces in particular, has grown increasingly strong, comprehensive and substantial, demonstrated through effective cooperation in the fields of investment attraction, trade promotion and cultural exchange...

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that Hai Duong's advantages in terms of geography, industrial and transportation infrastructure, high-quality human resources, etc. are important conditions for the province to attract businesses to come and learn about and invest.

In its orientation to become an industrial province, Hai Duong always prioritizes calling for and creating favorable conditions to attract investment projects in industries and fields that are also the strengths of Japanese enterprises such as processing, manufacturing, logistics, etc.

Hai Duong currently has about 600 FDI enterprises, including about 40 enterprises from Japan, with a total investment of nearly 800 million USD.

Hai Duong province has a sister province relationship with Kagoshima province of Japan and cooperates in a number of fields such as employment, healthcare, etc. In attracting investment, the province hopes to have more Japanese enterprises with economic potential, modern technology, and environmental friendliness to invest in Hai Duong.

The Provincial Party Secretary also informed that Hai Duong is attracting investment in the fields of health care and education and exempting land rent for investors.

Mr. Yasuhide Nakayama expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome of the leaders of Hai Duong province.

Affirming the good traditional relationship between the two countries, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yasuhide Nakayama hoped that through the working session, the close relationship between Hai Duong province in particular and Vietnam in general with Japan would be strengthened.
