What positions are included in the structure of the standing committee of the commune-level Party Committee?

Conclusion No. 118 - KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35 - CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party clearly states: "The number of standing committees at the commune level is from 5 to 7 comrades. The orientation of the standing committee structure, in addition to the positions stated in Directive No. 35, is to add the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level."

According to Directive No. 35 - CT/TW, the orientation for arranging the structure of the standing committee of the commune-level Party Committee includes: secretary, deputy secretary, chairman of the People's Committee, chairman of the People's Council, chief of police, military commander, and chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Thus, the Politburo oriented to arrange the structure of the standing committee of the commune-level Party Committee to include 5-7 comrades with the following positions: secretary, deputy secretary, chairman of the People's Committee, chairman of the People's Council, chief of police, military commander, chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and vice chairman of the People's Committee.

The Politburo held a meeting with the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee to review and decide specifically on the number and structure of the Standing Committee of the commune-level Party Committee, ensuring that it is suitable to the situation and requirements of the locality.

Also according to Directive No. 35 - CT/TW, the number of Party committee members at the commune level is no more than 15 comrades, deputy secretaries from 1 to 2 comrades.
