Interesting points of VinFast Wild - Vietnam's first electric pickup truck

VinFast Wild is Vietnam's first electric pickup truck and was launched at the CES 2024 exhibition in Las Vegas, then quickly introduced at the Bangkok Motor Show 2024 in Thailand.

This car model has suddenly returned to Vietnam and is planned to be displayed at VinFast showrooms for customers to access.

After announcing the specifications and features, VinFast Wild quickly attracted attention thanks to its remarkable highlights that are different from other competitors in the pickup truck segment.

Strong design, modern style

VinFast Wild has a futuristic design with neat, sharp lines but does not lose the very unique identification points of VinFast such as the LED daytime running lights running along the front of the car, the prominent VinFast logo in the middle, the neatly designed LED headlights...

The VinFast Wild's rims are designed in a solid shape and are up to 22 inches in size, with 305/35-R22 tires capable of running on all terrains from the Radar brand.

Dimensions are not inferior to competitors and the ability to expand the cargo compartment is unique in the segment.

VF Wild belongs to the mid-size pickup truck segment, with an overall length of 5,324 mm and a width of 1,997 mm. VinFast has not yet announced the wheelbase and specific dimensions of the cargo bed, but VinFast Wild has the ability to automatically fold the rear windshield and rear seats to extend the rear cargo space.

Thanks to that, the length of the rear cargo box can be increased from 1,524 mm to 2,438 mm, helping to optimize space when needing to carry bulky items.

Equipped with modern and comfortable furniture

Currently, VinFast has not announced the amenities inside the VinFast Wild, but based on the images of the car model in Vietnam, many people expect that this car model will have many modern amenities.

Specifically, inside the VinFast Wild, there is a large central entertainment screen, uniquely designed electronic gear lever, rear passenger pillow screen, electronic handbrake, ground clearance...

Engine power, battery capacity

Similar to the amenities, the operating parameters of VinFast Wild have not been announced yet, but many sources say that VinFast Wild may be equipped with 2 electric motors similar to VF 8 and VF 9 with the ability to produce a maximum capacity of 402 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque.

VinFast Wild's battery is also expected to be CATL with a capacity of 123 kWh. With this equipment, VinFast Wild is expected to be able to travel from 400 - 600 km after each full charge.
