97,000 km, luxury car Audi A6 2011 for sale at the same price as new Toyota Vios

Luxury cars after many years of use are often very cheap, even cheaper than many popular new cars. However, this segment is often picky because the cost of maintenance, care and operation of the car is much higher than that of popular cars of the same price range.

Recently, a car dealership in Hanoi offered a 2011 Audi A6 for sale for only VND480 million. The car is version 2.0, with over 97,000 km on the clock.

With this price, consumers can buy two new popular sedan models in the B-segment: Hyundai Accent 1.5 AT and Toyota Vios 1.5E CVT.

After 13 years of use, the value of the German luxury sedan has now decreased by 78% compared to the time of purchase. In 2011, the Audi A6 2.0 TFSI version was officially distributed in Vietnam with a starting price of 2.2 billion VND excluding rolling costs. It is estimated that the owner must spend no less than 2.4 billion VND to own this car.

In fact, the number of used Audi A6s on the market is quite small. Therefore, consumers do not have many options or price lists to refer to between models.

However, the car for sale has a fairly new exterior, from the chrome details to the multi-spoke wheels. It is not clear in reality, but it is difficult to find a 13-year-old car with a perfect paint job like a new car.

Although it is a 2011 model, the A6 still has a youthful, modern appearance thanks to the headlight cluster with angular LED daytime running lights. The glass part of the headlight is still transparent, most likely the owner has replaced it to ensure safety when driving at night.

The interior is covered in cream-colored leather, combined with brown wood paneling. The seller did not share specific information about the condition of the cabin, so it is unclear whether the previous owner of the Audi A6 had reupholstered the interior in leather, because the seats have very few wrinkles and are quite new.

Amenities on this luxury sedan include a central entertainment screen with integrated CD system that supports Bluetooth/USB connectivity, a 6-channel 10-speaker sound system, parking assistance system, tire pressure warning, 4-zone independent air conditioning system, electric front seats with memory position, etc.

The car uses a 2.0-liter I4 engine, with a direct fuel injection system with TFSI turbocharger. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an 8-speed Multitronic automatic transmission. This transmission system provides a maximum capacity of 180 horsepower and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, helping the car reach a maximum speed of 226 km/h and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.4 seconds.

The combined fuel consumption of the 2011 Audi A6 is 6.2 liters/100km as announced by the German car manufacturer. In reality, the above figure will be significantly higher, especially for low-end luxury cars.

With a price equal to a new Toyota Vios, users should consider because the cost of maintenance and use of luxury cars like Audi A6 will be much higher. In addition, the depreciation value of the car is also greater than that of a popular car. In return, users will receive the experience of a luxury car at an affordable cost instead of spending billions to get it.
