At the workshop, there were 8 comments contributed to the draft. Most of the delegates focused on the request to clearly explain some concepts and terms in the draft; consider proposing the unit to issue the regulations; the competent authority to issue the regulations. The time for organizing the proposal to consider and recognize intellectuals should be 3 years/time instead of 2 years as in the draft. It is necessary to clarify the scope and applicable subjects to be considered for the award, in which it is necessary to add that people with scientific initiatives must register to participate in order to be considered; only state the general principles, no need to state specifics. The review file only needs 1 original, the rest are copies, not 3 originals as in the draft. Should each person only be considered once or be considered multiple times? It is necessary to design a sample report of achievements...

At the end of the workshop, the representative of the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations affirmed that they will absorb the opinions of the delegates and take the next steps so that the regulations for selecting and honoring the title of outstanding provincial science and technology intellectuals will be issued soon.
