Positive change

These days, containers containing 5,000 tons of rice are crossing the sea, traveling halfway around the world from Hai Duong to the Republic of Cuba. This is a gift from the Party, State and people of Vietnam to the people of the neighboring country. The Hai Hung State Reserve Department is honored to be entrusted by its superiors to carry out this task. According to the unit's leaders, since being assigned the task, in just nearly a month, the Party Committee of the Hai Hung State Reserve Department has led the units to urgently deploy and complete the work according to the correct procedures and progress. To export, transport and deliver rice to the neighboring country requires many stages such as quality assessment, food safety inspection, disinfection, bidding to select a shipping unit, etc. Therefore, each leader, officer and employee must promote a sense of responsibility and focus on completing the above special task well.

Comrade Pham Van Dien, Deputy Director of the State Reserve Department of Hai Hung region, said: “Completing 100% of the urgent and extraordinary tasks is the breakthrough work of the Party Committee of the State Reserve Department of Hai Hung region in 2023. In the past 2 years, the Party Committee has led the implementation of 100% of the targets and plans for importing, exporting, purchasing, selling and preserving national reserve materials and goods, ensuring sufficient quantity and quality; absolute safety for people and property. In particular, the unit always completes 100% of the tasks of exporting and transporting reserve goods for support, relief and aid”.

At the Provincial Social Insurance Party Committee, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are also demonstrated through practical actions and in accordance with the motto "5 clear". The functional departments constantly study and follow Uncle Ho's words from small actions so that the implementation of policies and regimes is highly effective, creating trust among the people. Currently, the Provincial Social Insurance is the leading unit in the country in verifying information of health insurance participants. The fact that over 1.6 million people in the province have health insurance (reaching 95.17%) are authenticated with chip-embedded citizen identification cards has facilitated medical examination and treatment activities and accelerated the implementation of the Project on Application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation, period 2022-2025, vision to 2030 in the province (referred to as Project 06).

Comrade Dinh Quang Dung, Deputy Head of Information Technology Department (Provincial Social Insurance) shared: “On average, we have to process and authenticate about 3,000 cases every day. With 6 officers and employees and having to do many other tasks, we determined to do all the work, not just finish the time to synchronize data. In particular, the party members in the Party cell are exemplary leaders, overcoming difficulties and hardships to complete the assigned tasks”.

Provincial Social Insurance officers and employees work until the end of the day to complete assigned tasks well.

Focus on inspection and supervision

In order for studying and following Uncle Ho's example to be truly practical and create changes in practice, right from the beginning of this term, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc has developed a plan to carry out the breakthrough work of the Party Committee of the Bloc on "Improving the quality and effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; focusing on implementing the responsibilities of leaders, registering, setting examples and following by Party members". Every year, along with the work that the Party Committee of the Bloc registers with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, from 2021 to present, the Party committees and grassroots Party cells have selected and registered with the Party Committee of the Bloc to carry out 323 breakthrough tasks to focus on leading, directing and organizing implementation.

In studying and following Uncle Ho's example, inspection and supervision work is especially important to Party committees, Party cells and Party organizations in the Party Committee. In 2021 and 2022, the Party Committee of the Bloc conducted specialized inspections and supervisions of 12 Party organizations on "Direction and organization of the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle" and "Implementation of breakthrough tasks set forth by Party committees and Party cells in the resolutions of the Party Congresses and Party cells for the 2020-2025 term". The Inspection Committee, the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Bloc and Party committees at all levels, and the Inspection Committees of grassroots Party committees conducted dozens of inspections and supervisions of Party organizations and leaders in leading and directing the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW. Through inspection and supervision activities, the advantages have been properly assessed, while limitations and shortcomings have been pointed out for Party committees, grassroots Party cells and individuals to overcome.

In the past 2 years, the review of the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW has been organized seriously, systematically and with many innovations and effectiveness by the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc. Along with evaluating the implementation results, praising and rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals, the Party Committee of the Bloc invited prestigious reporters and experts at the Central level to convey specialized information, contributing to equipping skills, knowledge, and inspiring cadres and party members to continue to actively study and follow Uncle Ho's example. On May 16, at the conference to review 2 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, the Party Committee of the Bloc invited comrade Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Information and Communications, to give a talk on office culture and public service ethics in the period of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution to key cadres.

Comrade Nghiem Xuan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, said that promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc will continue to strengthen the direction and implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW for Party committees, Party cells, cadres and Party members in the entire Party Committee and closely link it with the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style will also continue to be inspected, supervised and the roles and responsibilities of cadres, Party members, civil servants and public employees will be clearly defined; implemented through specific and creative actions to innovate working style, build office culture, public ethics and professional ethics at agencies and units in the Party Committee.
