The first time she came to take photos by the lotus pond in West Lake, Pham Thi Thuy Linh, a student at the University of Water Resources, said she was very happy because the mild sunny weather in the morning made it easier for her to take photos.

"The lotus is a very familiar flower to the Vietnamese people, carrying many beautiful meanings, so I chose the most suitable outfit for taking photos: conical hat and ao dai. The flowers had not yet bloomed, so the location was not too crowded, I could freely choose the desired location," Thuy Linh added.
