According to the 2023 recruitment notice of the Department of Information Security, the Department will recruit 40 positions at the Vietnam Cyberspace Emergency Response Center and the National Cyberspace Security Monitoring Center.
The Department of Information Security is an organization under the Ministry of Information and Communications that performs advisory and assistance functions.MinisterState management and law enforcement on network information security.
In the organizational structure of the Information Security Department, in addition to the Office and specialized departments, there are also two affiliated public service units including the Vietnam Cyberspace Emergency Response Center - VNCERT/CC and the National Cyberspace Security Monitoring Center - NCSC.
In the field of network information security, the Ministry of Information and Communications has identified the mission of "Creating digital trust and protecting people in cyberspace" and the new development space is to ensure basic digital security for people in cyberspace, protect Vietnam's prosperity in cyberspace; build a network information security industry like the defense industry; master the Vietnamese network information security product ecosystem.
To contribute to building a strong human resource team for the Department of Information Security in general and the VNCERT/CC and NCSC Centers in particular, the Department of Information Security has just announced the recruitment plan for civil servants in 2023.
According to the plan, this time the Department of Information Security will recruit 40 officials to work at two of the Department's public service units: the Vietnam Cyberspace Emergency Response Center and the National Cyberspace Security Monitoring Center.
In particular, the recruitment target of the National Cyber Security Monitoring Center is 20, with 10 positions working in Hanoi City including: Preventing and combating cyber attacks; Collecting, analyzing and giving early warnings about information security; Investigating and analyzing information security incidents; Consulting, inspecting and evaluating information security; Propagating information about information security; International cooperation on information security; Administration - Synthesis; Document archiving; Planning - Finance; Accounting.
There are also 20 recruitment targets for civil servants, but the Vietnam Cyber Emergency Response Center will recruit for 14 positions in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, including: Coordinating the handling of computer incidents and network information security; Organizing activities of the network for responding to network information security incidents; Researching and designing information security systems; Managing advertising codes and identification names; Responding to and handling network information security incidents; Responding to and handling network information security incidents; Managing, preventing and handling spam emails and spam messages; Building and operating technical systems to support the prevention and blocking of spam emails and spam messages; Building, applying and evaluating information security processes and regulations according to information security standards; Researching and developing products, technologies, techniques and solutions for network information security; Administration - General; Document archiving; Planning - Finance; Accounting.
In addition to the general conditions, candidates registering to participate in the 2023 recruitment of civil servants of the Department of Information Security must also meet specific requirements on training and skills for each job position.
The time for candidates to submit their application for the recruitment of civil servants of the Department of Information Security will last for 30 days, from August 22, 2023 to September 22, 2023. Candidates can submit their application directly at the Department of Information Security's Office, 8th floor, Radio Frequency Department Building, 115 Tran Duy Hung, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi (during office hours on weekdays); or submit by post.
Each candidate can only register for 1 position and is fully responsible for the content declared in the Application Form. The list of qualified candidates will be specifically announced on the Website of the Department of Information Security at ais.gov.vn
Qualified candidates will take the civil service recruitment exam in 2 rounds, in which round 1 is a multiple choice test on computer about general knowledge and English language; round 2 is a written test on specialized professional subjects.
The Information Security Department plans to organize civil servant recruitment exams in the third and fourth quarters of this year, in Hanoi. The specific time and location of the exam will be announced by the Department on the website ais.gov.vn.
