The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed Vietnamese embassies in the Middle East to closely coordinate with local authorities and diplomatic missions in the area to strengthen citizen protection measures.
On April 14, according to information from the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran, the escalating tension between Israel and Iran in recent days has become complicated and continues to escalate.
Previously, the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed Vietnamese embassies in the Middle East to closely coordinate with local authorities and diplomatic missions in the area to strengthen citizen protection measures, assign staff on duty, and regularly contact Vietnamese community leaders in the area to continuously update information.
So far, the situation of Vietnamese citizens in the areas is still safe.
Following the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran have advised citizens on measures to ensure security and safety; will continue to closely monitor the situation, maintain regular contact with the Vietnamese community, develop protection plans appropriate to the developments of the conflict, and protect the safety of Vietnamese citizens.
The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Vietnamese citizens temporarily avoid traveling to conflict areas.
Vietnamese citizens in the area need to closely monitor the situation; proactively take necessary security and safety measures; strictly comply with local government regulations, avoid large gatherings and limit travel; and immediately contact the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran when encountering difficulties or needing assistance.
