Announcing the award structure at the Journey to Lotus Village 2024

“Journey to Lotus Village 2024” is really “heating up” as the opening day is approaching. The Organizing Committee is preparing for the tournament very urgently and carefully, while the athletes are also training hard to have the best physical condition ready for the race that is predicted to have many challenges.

In order to encourage athletes to participate in the tournament, the Organizing Committee of "Journey to Lotus Village 2024" announced the prize structure in all categories, with valuable gifts in cash and in kind.

Notably, the first-place finisher in the 42km category (male and female) will receive a cash prize of VND8 million and VND6 million in kind. The second-place finisher will receive VND5 million in cash and VND4 million in kind, the third-place finisher will receive VND4 million in cash and VND3 million in kind, etc.

With the distance of 42km for amateur athletes, athletes (male and female) receive the same reward as for the professional athletes. This is a remarkable encouragement for amateur athletes at this year's tournament.

In the 21km distance of the selected system, the first-place athlete receives 6 million VND in cash and 5 million VND in kind. This is also the reward for the first-place athletes of the mass movement system.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded first, second, third, fourth and fifth prizes for the distances of 21km, 10km, 5km for the professional and amateur categories. In particular, "Journey to Sen Village 2024" also has prizes for the journalism category, family, most crowded club, club with the best achievements, impressive costumes, children... The total prize value including cash and gifts is up to more than 500 million VND.

"Journey to Lotus Village 2024" is not just a simple sports tournament, but also a challenge, experience, and pride when walking in Uncle Ho's homeland.

What is special is that all distances of the tournament (42km, 21km, 10km, 5km) will finish in Cua Lo. And this is an opportunity for athletes to "live virtually" with the most beautiful beach in Nghe An, at the most beautiful time: the dawn of a new day.

According to statistics, up to this point, the Organizing Committee has received nearly 3,000 athletes registering to compete in 4 categories: marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km. It is expected that before the registration portal closes on June 1, the Organizing Committee will sell more than 3,000 bibs to athletes. This is a record number of athletes for a race held in Nghe An.
