The Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Loc district (Hai Duong) has just decided to fine a vehicle owner and a driver in Gia Loc town nearly 50 million VND for carrying overloaded goods.
On February 28, Nam Loi Trading Joint Stock Company in Zone 4, Le Thanh Nghi Street, whose legal representative is Ms. Vu Thi Loi, handed over the vehicle to Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh in To residential area (in the same Gia Loc town) to drive a 34C-038.56 truck carrying goods exceeding the weight limit by more than 150% to participate in traffic. The company was fined 38 million VND and had its vehicle badge revoked for 2 months..
Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh was fined 10 million VND and had his driver's license revoked for 4 months for driving over the permitted weight.
The above fine is stipulated in Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 123/2021/ND-CP dated December 28, 2021 of the Government.
