National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue offers incense at Kim Lien Special National Relic Site and Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site.

This is an event before the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2024 and the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2024 at Truong Bon National Historical Site, Do Luong District, Nghe An Province, organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

In a solemn atmosphere, the National Assembly Chairman and the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate and express their infinite gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh - who devoted and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always had special affection and care for the young generation. He used the image of Spring - the most beautiful season of the year to talk about youth: A year begins in Spring. A life begins in youth. Youth is the Spring of society. He also affirmed that "youth are the future masters of the country", "the prosperity or decline, weakness or strength of the country depends largely on the youth".

Implementing his teachings, through each historical period of the revolution, the Party and the State have always paid attention to and cared for the youth and youth work. The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has constantly innovated and implemented revolutionary and youth action programs that are enthusiastic, practical and effective, making worthy contributions to the cause of national liberation and unification; building and defending the Fatherland.

Performing the flag-saluting ceremony and commemorating President Ho Chi Minh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation vowed to forever study and follow his noble ideology, morality and style.

Also in the morning, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site (in My Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province).

During the resistance war against the US to save the country, National Highway 15A - where Truong Bon is located - was a particularly important strategic location, connecting the North - South traffic arteries. Truong Bon became the fire coordinate in the escalating bombings of the US imperialists in the North of our country to cut off the traffic artery transporting human resources and materials to support the battlefield in the South.

Here, 1,240 officers and soldiers fought bravely and heroically sacrificed; including the heroic sacrifice of 13 youth volunteers of the "Steel Squad" of the 317th Youth Volunteer Company, Team 65, the General Youth Volunteer Team against the US to save the country, Nghe An province.

Offering fresh flowers and incense sticks to the souls of the heroic martyrs, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the delegation expressed their emotion, respect, and deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed at the Truong Bon "fire coordinates"; vowing to follow the heroic martyrs' example of making efforts, being creative, and innovating in their work, contributing to building a strong National Assembly, and contributing to the overall development of the country.
