With a difference of 21 million, should I buy the high-end Hyundai Accent or the VinFast VF 5 Plus?

My wife and I are planning to buy a small car, priced at around 550 million VND, to conveniently commute to work in the city and go out every weekend. In this price range, we are both looking at the highest-end Hyundai Accent model, newly launched at 569 million VND, and the VinFast VF 5 Plus with battery purchase, priced at 548 million VND.

Sitting down to calculate with my wife, I found that each charge of the VF 5 Plus electric car costs about 143,000 VND. After a full charge, the car can travel about 326 km according to the company's announcement, equivalent to each kilometer costing only about 438 VND. This cost is very cheap, so I personally want to lean towards the option of buying an electric car.

However, my family lives in a small alley, cars cannot enter, so I am quite worried about having to wait a long time each time the battery is charged, usually lasting more than 1 hour. I am also worried because with the range of an electric car like that, my family cannot travel far, only around some nearby locations such as Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong,...

Meanwhile, my wife seems to be interested in the higher-end Hyundai Accent because of its youthful, feminine design, which is to her liking. She argues that: "A gas car is more convenient for long-distance travel. Each refueling only takes about 5 minutes to travel 500-600 km, saving time waiting."

Currently, the price of VinFast VF 5 Plus is 21 million VND cheaper than the highest-end Hyundai Accent 2024. Moreover, electric cars are also supported with 100% registration fee, so the rolling cost will be cheaper than gasoline cars. But hearing my wife say that, I also hesitated quite a bit in choosing.
