Approval of investment policy for residential area adjacent to irrigation river and National Highway 18 in Chi Linh

On February 6, the Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy of the Project to build a residential area adjacent to the irrigation river and National Highway 18 in Van An Ward (Chi Linh). The project area is 36 hectares in Van An Ward. The residential area is bordered to the east by agricultural land, to the west by the traffic road leading to the residential area, to the south by Phao Tan - An Bai canal and to the north by the headquarters of the Van An Ward People's Committee and National Highway 18.

This project has more than 10.1 hectares of residential land, more than 16.6 hectares of traffic land, more than 4.9 hectares of social infrastructure land, the rest is green land, parking lots, technical infrastructure... The project will be bid to select investors to implement.

The investor will construct technical infrastructure works, build 70 housing projects (rough construction and exterior finishing); kindergartens, commercial and service works...

The project has a total preliminary investment of nearly 900 billion VND, of which the cost of technical infrastructure construction is more than 329 billion VND, the cost of rough construction of housing projects is more than 165 billion VND, the cost of construction of commercial service projects is more than 171 billion VND, the rest is the cost of building kindergartens, compensation, and support for site clearance.

The project to build a residential area adjacent to the irrigation river and National Highway 18 in Van An ward aims to synchronously build technical infrastructure of the urban area according to the detailed construction plan at a scale of 1/500; synchronously connect with neighboring areas, create revenue for the budget and develop the local socio-economy; at the same time, form a new urban area to meet the housing needs of the people and concretize the housing development plan in 2024 in the province.
