Hai Duong crab cakes appear on the culinary map of 63 delicious Vietnamese dishes

63 dishes - typical specialties prepared by more than 50 chefs, creating a map model longer than 20m, officially set a Vietnamese record.

The Vietnam Record Council has announced the official decision to set a record with the content "The event of processing and performing 63 dishes - typical specialties of 63 provinces and cities and creating the first model of Vietnamese culinary map", co-owned by Hoa Sen University (HSU), Center for Research, Preservation and Development of Vietnamese Cuisine and Saigon Professional Chefs Association since April 27.

This map model introduces typical dishes and specialties of 63 provinces and cities across the country, promoting Vietnamese culinary values to international friends such as Ca Mau braised fish with fruit, Kien Giang herring salad, Binh Thuan hotpot, Da Lat artichoke stewed pork leg, Thanh Hoa shrimp rolls, Ninh Thuan mountain goat, Ha Nam rice rolls, Nam Dinh beef noodle soup...

These are dishes prepared by more than 50 chefs who are contestants and former contestants of The Future Chef Contest in different seasons, along with a team of chefs from the three regions of the North, Central, and South, and chefs from restaurant chains in the Ho Chi Minh City area, creating a map model more than 20m long.

Artisan Bui Thi Suong, deputy director of the Center for Research, Preservation and Development of Vietnamese Cuisine, said that Vietnamese cuisine still has a lot to do to take off and be honored at its true value.

Establishing a new mark for Vietnamese cuisine also shows the diversity of culinary resources and delicious Vietnamese dishes to introduce to international friends.
