In the coming time, Hai Duong's agricultural sector needs to strengthen coordination with related sectors to promote trade and boost consumption of OCOP products.
On the afternoon of September 11, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council supervised the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong on the implementation results of the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Project in the province.
Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the whole province currently has 234 OCOP products that have been evaluated and classified. Of these, there are 138 3-star OCOP products, 94 4-star products and 2 products proposed for the Central Government to evaluate 5 stars.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich suggested that in the coming time, the agricultural sector should focus on developing potential products associated with local raw material areas. The agricultural sector needs to select the province's key OCOP products for investment and development, increasing product value. Strengthen inspection and evaluation to continuously improve the quality of OCOP products. Promote propaganda to raise awareness of product value. In particular, it is necessary to have a professional management and operation apparatus for OCOP products, and build a network of product display stores in localities.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development needs to coordinate with relevant units to build and develop OCOP products in the province, especially the Provincial Cooperative Union to increase the proportion of cooperatives. Coordinate with the industry and trade sector in supporting trade promotion, advertising and connecting the consumption of OCOP products to domestic distribution systems...
