Cam Giang supports the family of a 19-day-old baby girl who died from severe burns

Cam Giang district allocated 20 million VND, Red Cross 3 million VND; District Fatherland Front Committee, Women's Union, District Youth Union each contributed 2 million VND to support the child's family.

It is known that the Women's Union of Cam Hoang commune also donated 6 million VND to support the child's family.

Currently, the child's parents, Mr. Vu Xuan Nam and Ms. Nguyen Thi Luong (both born in 1993), are still receiving intensive treatment at the National Burn Hospital. Mr. Nam suffered 30% burns, Ms. Luong suffered 80% burns. The family has a small child in 3rd grade.

At around 3pm on May 8, neighbors heard the desperate cries for help from Mr. Nam and his wife and immediately ran over. At that time, Mr. Nam had put out the fire and brought his wife and children out in a state of severe burns. Immediately afterwards, the three family members were taken to the Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment, then transferred to the National Burn Hospital (Hanoi). The newborn baby girl, who was only 19 days old, died on the way to the emergency room.

Mr. Nam and his wife are workers with limited income. Both parents are also constantly ill, and the current cost of hospital treatment for Mr. Nam and his wife is too difficult for the family.
