Hai Duong athletes compete in 90 national and international sports tournaments in 2023

According to the leader of the Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center, in 2023, Hai Duong athletes in 21 sports participated in 84 national tournaments, won 124 gold medals, 121 silver medals, 142 bronze medals, and broke and set 7 national records.

Athletes in rowing, diving, weightlifting, table tennis, fencing, and Arnis participated in 6 international competitions, including: Southeast Asian Shooting Championship, Asian Diving Championship, Asian Youth Diving Championship, Southeast Asian Youth Athletics Championship, Asian Rowing Championship, Asian Games, won 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals; broke and set 3 SEA Games records.

In 2024, Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center will continue to focus on investing in key and core teams to participate in national tournaments, especially the national championship system to best prepare the force to participate in the 10th National Sports Congress in 2026. In 2024, Hai Duong athletes strive to win over 300 medals of all kinds, of which the national championship will achieve 22-24 gold medals, 25-28 silver medals and 22-25 bronze medals.

Hai Duong Sports Training, Coaching and Competition Center currently has 64 coaches and athletes training the national team and the national youth team; 4 international master athletes, 66 masters, 6 reserve masters, 88 level I athletes...
