Some Mercedes-Benz dealers in Vietnam have begun accepting orders for the Mercedes-Benz G580 luxury SUV.
Dealers also said the cars are expected to be officially delivered in the third quarter.
However, many of these luxury electric SUV models will have to wait until the beginning of the fourth quarter to be officially delivered to Vietnamese customers.
The electric version of the G-class, instead of taking the EQG name like many other recent Mercedes-Benz electric models, is set to be the G580. In terms of power, the Mercedes-Benz G580 is equipped with 4 independent electric motors at each wheel for a maximum capacity of 579 horsepower and 1,164 Nm of torque.
The Mercedes-Benz G580 electric SUV has a 116 kWh battery pack, similar to the EQS sedan version, allowing the car to travel 469 km after each full charge.
Inside, the Mercedes-Benz G580 has a luxurious and comfortable interior space with a modern dashboard, two seamlessly connected 12.3-inch screens (digital dashboard with central touch screen), rear entertainment system with 11.6-inch screen and high-end Burmester sound system.
Currently, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has not officially announced the price of G580, but this luxury SUV is expected to cost around 9 billion VND.
