Social housing draw

On the morning of December 2, Dong Nai Housing Business Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Department of Construction to organize a lottery ceremony for low-income workers to buy social housing at apartment building A6 - A7, Quang Vinh ward, Bien Hoa city.

The draw took place publicly under the close supervision of the authorities and more than 700 customers attended. As a result, 432 people won the right to buy a house, the rest got a reserve ticket. According to regulations, 15 days after the investor has compiled the documents to consider the conditions, there will be an official list of people who are entitled to buy a house.

The A6-A7 social housing project was granted a construction permit in 2020. To date, the investor has completed the rough construction and is expected to hand over the houses in early 2025. The project has a total of 348 social housing units for sale.

The expected selling price of social housing excluding VAT and 2% maintenance cost is about 18.8 million VND per square meter; the selling price of social housing including 5% VAT and excluding 2% maintenance cost is about 19.8 million VND per square meter.

According to the Dong Nai Department of Construction, there are currently 3 social housing projects under construction in the province with about 2,000 apartments. The locality has set a goal of building 10,000 social housing and worker housing units in the 2021-2025 period to help low-income workers "settle down and have a career".
