The Politburo decides on the inspection program of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2023.

On the morning of April 7, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong chaired a meeting of the Politburo and the Secretariat to give opinions on the Project "Summary of 15 years of implementing Resolution 27 dated August 6, 2008 of the 10th Party Central Committee on building a contingent of intellectuals in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country". The meeting also heard the Central Inspection Committee report on the inspection delegations of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2022 and proposed the inspection program of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2023.

Commenting on the Project “Summary of 15 years of implementing Resolution 27 dated August 6, 2008 of the 10th Party Central Committee on building a contingent of intellectuals in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country”, the Politburo affirmed that Vietnamese intellectuals are a high-quality human resource, a creative labor force with the honor and duty to pioneer, directly participate, contribute, build and protect the Fatherland, improve people's knowledge, train talents in all fields, contribute significantly to raising the intelligence and strength of the nation, promote the country's rapid and sustainable development; serve as a basis for improving the quality of the worker-farmer-intellectual alliance, promoting the strength of great national unity for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, fairness, democracy and civilization. Building a strong intellectual team in terms of quantity and quality, with a reasonable structure associated with promoting the role, responsibility and capacity of intellectuals in implementing goals, tasks and strategies for socio-economic development... is the responsibility of the Party, the State, the political system and the whole society. Determining the focus on promoting institutional reform, mobilizing social resources; respecting and promoting freedom of thought, academia, practicing democracy in creative research activities; having special mechanisms and policies to promote talents, elite intellectuals, and leading scientists, is to create an environment, conditions and fundamental motivation to develop and promote the intellectual team.

The Politburo assigned the Project Steering Committee to receive comments from the Politburo and relevant agencies to complete the Project and report to the Politburo to submit to the Party Central Committee.

Regarding the report on the results of the inspection delegations of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2022 and the Inspection Program of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2023, the Politburo and Secretariat discussed and decided on the Inspection Program of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2023.

Specifically, 5 inspection teams of the Politburo and 5 inspection teams of the Secretariat, headed by Politburo members and Secretariat members, were established to inspect 30 Party organizations directly under the Central Committee.

The inspection content of the Politburo's inspection teams is to inspect the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, focusing on the content of personnel work associated with the implementation results of Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW, dated May 19, 2018 of the 12th Party Central Committee on focusing on building a contingent of cadres at all levels, especially at the strategic level, with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige, equal to the task.

The inspection content of the inspection delegations of the Secretariat is to inspect the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of the Resolutions and Conclusions of the 4th Central Committee of the 12th and 13th terms on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party, focusing on the content of promoting the fight against corruption, waste and negativity associated with the leadership and direction of the implementation of Directive No. 26-CT/TW, dated November 9, 2018 of the Politburo on leadership and direction in resolving complicated cases and incidents of public concern.
