Car license plate with "four 8s" in Hanoi won auction for over 3.7 billion VND

According to the announcement of Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company, on October 12, the unit will put 212 car license plates on the auction floor. These license plates will be auctioned in 5 time frames, including: 8:00 - 9:00; 9:15 - 10:15; 10:30 - 11:30; 13:30 - 14:30 and 15:00 - 16:00.

Also according to the announcement of the auction organizer, in the first time frame (from 8:00 to 9:00), 39 car license plates were successfully auctioned. Notably, license plate 30K-588.88 won the auction with the highest amount of 3.735 billion VND; 22 other license plates were "priced" at 40 million VND.

Plate number 30K-538.66 was not successfully auctioned, this is the case where bidders entered the room but no one bid.

In the next time slot (from 9:15 to 10:15), Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company continues to auction 40 car license plates. Notable license plates in this time slot are 98A-666.96; 30K-488.88 and 30K-522.22.

Previously, on the evening of October 11, the car license plate auction organizer put 6 license plates back on the market, including: 51K-888.88 (Ho Chi Minh City, previous winning price of 32.340 billion VND); 30K-555.55 (Hanoi), previous winning price of 14.12 billion VND); 30K-567.89 (Hanoi, 13.075 billion VND); 36A-999.99 (Thanh Hoa, 7.47 billion VND), 98A-666.66 (Bac Giang, 3.075 billion VND), 47A-599.99 (Dak Lak, 1.37 billion VND).

These are the license plates that were auctioned on September 15, but the winning bidder "abandoned the deposit".
