This afternoon, October 20, at the license plate auction, only 45/206 beautiful license plates were successfully bid for, including many license plates with a series of four of a kind and three of a kind winning the auction with the lowest amount of 40 million VND.
On the afternoon of October 20, there were two auctions of car license plates at 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 3-4 p.m. with 206 license plates being "listed", 4 more than on the afternoon of October 19. However, only 45 license plates were auctioned, equivalent to 21.8% of the license plates on the list.
The number of people interested in the auction was not high because on the afternoon of October 20, there were only 2 highly rated license plates, 89A-400.00 (Hung Yen) and 76A-244.44 (Quang Ngai) in the time frame of 13:30-14:30. However, surprisingly, no one was interested in these 2 license plates and they will return to the number warehouse.
In the first hour of the afternoon, the highest paid license plate was 36A - 999.97 of Thanh Hoa province with the amount of 185 million VND. The beautiful license plates with a series of four or three numbers were expected to be paid high prices but stopped at the standard level of 40 million VND such as 21A - 176.66, 49A - 606.66, 21A - 176.66, 15K - 185.55, 30K - 506.66, 51K - 913.33, 47A - 611.11, 98A - 666.67.
The last time frame from 3pm to 4pm this afternoon is similar, many beautiful license plates have the lowest price of 40 million VND or differ by 5 million VND, commonly 51K - 777.74, 19A - 555.53, 43A - 777.33, 72A - 727.77, 17A - 387.89.
At the end of the two afternoon auctions, the highest bidder was 30K - 509.99 (Hanoi), which was 290 million VND. This is a license plate with the last number of the triple 999, symbolizing longevity, eternity, luck and fortune. When 3 number 9 stand next to each other, it creates a solid triple 999 (Sim triple 999), helping the owner to advance, build authority and a solid position in life and society.
Overall, on October 20, 97/300 license plates were successfully auctioned, higher than the rate of 110/514 yesterday (October 19).
Tomorrow, October 21, 2023, VPA auction company will continue to auction 414 license plates, organized into 5 sessions: 8:00-9:00, 9:15-10:15, 10:30-11:30, 13:30-14:30 and 15:00-16:00. Among these, the notable license plates include 51K-888.88, 60K-411.11, 72A-711.11, 36A-999.66, 30K-555.00,... In particular, license plate 51K-888.88 was auctioned for 32.34 billion VND, but the auction winner abandoned the deposit and did not fulfill his financial obligations to the authorities. This is expected to be the focus of tomorrow's auction.
