On the morning of February 26, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), through its Hai Duong branch, donated VND700 million to support Hai Duong province in strengthening its capacity to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
BIDV symbolically donated 700 million VND to support Hai Duong in epidemic prevention
This includes 500 million VND in cash and 200 million VND in kind (masks, medical gloves).
Speaking at the reception, Mr. Nguyen Duong Thai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, acknowledged BIDV's attention to the timely sharing and support. Hai Duong Province highly appreciated the unit's dedication to social security work over the past years. With BIDV's support, the province will have more resources to support epidemic prevention and control, soon repel the epidemic, and stabilize the socio-economy.
During this outbreak, BIDV has so far donated 5.2 billion VND to help Hai Duong improve its epidemic prevention capacity, including cash and medical supplies.
