The Investigation Police Agency of Chi Linh City Police (Hai Duong) has decided to prosecute the defendant Do Van Thiem, the subject who used a chair to beat and seriously injure someone in Van An ward for no reason.

Based on the investigation results, the Investigation Police Agency of Chi Linh City Police determined that at around 10:00 p.m. on May 3, at Do Hieu tea room in Tuong residential area, Van An ward, Do Van Thiem (born in 1983, permanent residence in Xuan Thuong commune, Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh), residing at house number 60B, Chuong Duong street (Hai Duong city) used a steel frame chair to hit Nguyen Tien T. (born in 1993, residing in Tuong residential area, Van An ward) on the head.
Thiem repeatedly beat Mr. T., causing him to be seriously injured and had to be taken to the emergency room and treated at medical facilities, with a 9% body injury.

According to Mr. T.'s family, before the incident, the two did not know each other and had no conflicts. That evening, Mr. T. lived near the tea room so he came over to visit and have a drink. While Mr. T. was drinking, Thiem came and sat at the same table and a short while later the above incident occurred.
Chi Linh City Police Investigation Police continue to investigate and clarify the case and other related subjects.
