Dak Lak Province police have successfully dismantled a ring producing thousands of tons of fake fertilizer led by a couple in Ho Chi Minh City.
On January 22, Dak Lak Provincial Police announced that they had successfully dismantled a large-scale "fake fertilizer production and trading" case.
There are 4 subjects related to the case arrested by the police, including Nguyen Thi Cam My - General Director of Nam Duong Fertilizer Trading Joint Stock Company (born in 1984, residing at 223 Hoa Lu Street, Dong Da Ward, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province) and her husband Bui Minh Chanh - General Director of United States International Fertilizer Group Joint Stock Company - VINA (born in 1983, residing at 11 Nguyen Phi Khanh, Ward 10, Tan Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The other two subjects include: Vo Thi Hong Nhung - General Accountant, Nam Duong Fertilizer Trading Joint Stock Company (born in 1992, residing in An Thai village, Nhon Phuc commune, An Nhon town, Binh Dinh province) and Nguyen Duong Thinh - Warehouse Accountant, Nam Duong Fertilizer Trading Joint Stock Company (born in 1989, residing in Thu Thien Ha village, Binh Nghi commune, Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province).
Previously, through the work of grasping the situation in the area, the Economic Police Department - Dak Lak Provincial Police discovered signs of buying and selling fake fertilizers at some business agents in the area, so they reported it to the leaders of Dak Lak Provincial Police.
Receiving instructions from the Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, the Economic Police Department has simultaneously deployed professional measures, urgently searched related business locations in many provinces and cities such as Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Long An, Binh Dinh, Ho Chi Minh City...
During an emergency search of the headquarters and production warehouse of two companies headed by Chanh and My, the Economic Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police seized 10,264 bags labeled with different types of NPK fertilizers with a total weight of more than 513 tons, more than 4,000 tons of raw materials for fertilizer production, along with many related papers, documents, and books.
The police worked with 32 fertilizer dealers in the provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai and Kon Tum, temporarily seizing more than 848 tons of fertilizer products that the two companies had produced and sold on the market.
