The Party Central Committee has decided to introduce personnel to elect the position of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term.

On March 1, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the 13th Party Central Committee met to review and give opinions on personnel work.
The Central Executive Committee of the Party has decided as follows:
1. Decision to introduce personnel to be elected to hold the position of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term.
2. Elect three additional members of the 13th Central Inspection Commission, including: Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Head of Department of Areas I, Central Inspection Commission; Mr. Dinh Huu Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission of Can Tho City Party Committee.
