The Executive Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee held a conference on organizational restructuring.

Comrades: Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the conference.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang said that in the past time, with a positive spirit and urgent implementation of the revolution in streamlining the organizational apparatus under the direction of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee has summarized Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and streamline the organizational apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently".

On December 18, 2024, the Provincial Party Executive Committee gave initial comments on the plan to reorganize the apparatus in the province's political system.

Up to now, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has completed the following projects: Ending the activities of Party executive committees, provincial Party delegations and Party committees of provincial agencies; establishing Party committees of provincial Party agencies and Party committees of the Provincial People's Committee; Project to merge the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee; Project to rearrange the organizational structure of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. At this conference, delegates will be asked for their opinions on the content of the projects.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the reorganization of the apparatus has been urgently implemented by the Central Committee with the spirit of "the Central Committee sets an example, the localities respond". On the first working day of the new year of At Ty 2025 (February 3), the Central Committee issued decisions to end the operation, establish, merge, and change the names of Party agencies and organizations at the Central level.

To closely follow the Central Committee's direction and the set progress, the Provincial Party Secretary requested delegates to focus on discussing and giving thorough and comprehensive opinions on the Projects submitted to the Provincial Party Committee this time. From there, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will complete and organize the implementation effectively, ensuring the set requirements.

After the opening speech of the conference by the Provincial Party Secretary, Comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, quickly announced the results of the 13th Party Central Committee Conference in January 2025 and thoroughly implemented Regulation No. 232-QD/TW, dated January 20, 2025, implementing the Party Charter; Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW, dated January 18, 2025, on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated June 14, 2024 of the 13th Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Conclusion No. 119-KL/TW, dated January 20, 2025, on the orientation for innovation and improvement of the law-making process; Directive No. 42-CT/TW, dated January 16, 2025 on strengthening the Party's leadership in education work with diligence, integrity, impartiality, and impartiality.
