Bac Giang expands the target buyers of the 4,000 billion VND social housing project

According to the Decision of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, the beneficiaries who are eligible to buy houses under the Social Housing project for workers in the New Urban Area of ​​Nenh town, Viet Yen district (commercial name Evergreen Bac Giang) after adjustment are expanded to include: People with revolutionary contributions according to the provisions of the law on incentives for people with revolutionary contributions; low-income people, poor and near-poor households in urban areas; workers working at enterprises inside and outside industrial parks; officers, professional non-commissioned officers, technical non-commissioned officers, professional soldiers, workers in agencies and units of the People's Public Security and the People's Army.

Cadres, civil servants, and public employees as prescribed by law on cadres, civil servants, and public employees; subjects who have returned public housing as prescribed; students of academies, universities, colleges, and vocational schools; students of public ethnic boarding schools are allowed to use housing during their study period.

Households and individuals subject to land recovery and housing clearance and demolition according to the provisions of law but have not yet received compensation from the State in the form of housing and residential land.

The social housing project in the new urban area of ​​Nenh town, invested by a joint venture between Saigon - Hai Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and Evergreen Bac Giang Sustainable Development Investment Joint Stock Company, was initially oriented to serve the housing needs of workers.

The project started construction on October 24, 2021, built on an area of ​​about 5 hectares with a total investment of more than 4,000 billion VND, with a scale of 16 20-storey apartment buildings and synchronous technical infrastructure, divided into 3 phases.

Previously, on March 29, 2022, the People's Committee of Bac Giang province issued a decision to sanction administrative violations in real estate business activities against Everland Real Estate Services Joint Stock Company - a real estate brokerage unit at the Evergreen Bac Giang project. The fine amount is 140 million VND.
