Russian domestic car manufacturer Aurus introduced a new upgrade for Senat Limousine - the limo for the Russian President. Aurus Senat is considered the Russian Rolls-Royce super luxury car. The new upgrade of Senat Limousine was revealed on the inauguration day of Russian President Vladimir Putin, on May 7.
In the new version, Senat redesigned the grille with wider bars than the old version. The chrome frame border is thicker, while the lower border extends to the sides, highlighting the side air intakes. The upgraded light cluster with L-shaped LED daytime running lights and matrix LED headlights.
Inside, the driver benefits from a new Nami MN infotainment system with a customizable touchscreen. A new 360-degree camera system and night vision camera. A digital interior rearview mirror and a driver monitoring camera.
The Russian automaker equips the Senat 2024 with a hybrid powertrain revolving around a 4.4 V8 gasoline engine for a total capacity of 598 horsepower and a maximum torque of 880 Nm. The limo uses a 9-speed automatic transmission, combined with a full-time 4-wheel drive system.
The upgraded Aurus Senat limousines for the Russian president and his entourage are scheduled to be launched in 2025. They will be produced at Toyota's old factory in St. Petersburg, Russia from the end of this year.
