Audi will debut the Q6 Sportback e-tron to the global public for the first time at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.
With Audi's iconic, powerful SUV design for the Q6 SUV e-tron combined with the distinctive styling of the Sportback.
“The model shows the versatility of the new generation of Audi electric vehicles,” said Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG. “The Sportback is the next step in the expansion of our electric vehicle portfolio. The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron combines the advantages of new electric vehicles – performance, range, driving dynamics – with inspiring design and the practicality of a distinctive silhouette.”
With an impressive sporty appearance, the car has a luggage compartment with a capacity of 511 liters and a front trunk with a capacity of 64 liters. When the rear seats are folded down, the storage space can be expanded to 1,373 liters.
With a wheelbase of 2,899 mm, the car's interior offers comfortable space even for the rear seats. In addition, the Q6 Sportback e-tron also has an additional 25 liters of useful storage space.
After its launch, the electric Q6 Sportback and its SUV counterpart will have another battery version with 10 modules and a capacity of 83 kWh (usable capacity: 75.8 kWh). Thus, in addition to the all-wheel drive version and the S version, the Q6 Sportback e-tron will also have two more rear-wheel drive versions, completing the powerful electric motor portfolio of the Q6 e-tron line.
Thanks to its aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient cd of 0.26 (SUV version: 0.28) and a battery capacity of up to 100 kWh (usable capacity: 94.9 kWh), the Q6 Sportback e-tron performance is 4,771 mm long, 1,965 mm wide (excluding mirrors) and 1,665 mm high (37 mm lower than the SUV version) with an operating range of up to 656 km.
The design team redesigned the entire roofline, starting from the A-pillar, making the Sportback 37 mm lower than the SUV version. This adjustment combines the dynamism and elegance of the Sportback with the classic proportions of an SUV.
The front of the car features a completely enclosed, three-dimensional single-frame grille. Thanks to its high position, the digital daytime running lights give the Q6 Sportback e-tron a striking and unique appearance. The rear of the car has a more compact and dynamic design than the SUV, harmoniously combining strength with sporty elegance. The seamless taillight strip and the elegant, spacious rear structure give the Sportback the characteristic Audi clean and sharp look.
The interior of the Q6 Sportback e-tron is designed to be optimized to meet the needs of the user. The Audi MMI panoramic display system and the MMI passenger display create a pleasing digital space.
Premium colours and materials, such as Argument fabric and Dinamica microfibre, some of which are made from recycled materials, are also used for the seats. In the S line, the soft upholstery uses Elastic Melange, a material made from recycled materials. The roof, pillars and sun visors are made from Draft, a fabric made from 100% recycled polyester.
The Q6 Sportback e-tron is available with two battery sizes and two drive systems. With its 83 kWh high-voltage battery (usable capacity: 75.8 kWh), even the base version of the electric Sportback delivers impressive driving performance.
